Uncommon connection groups (V/inverted V, Scott, Leblanc, etc.)

Field of use:

All those applications that require the interconnection of networks with different characteristics or the use of single- or two-phase loads from three-phase networks.

Multi-pole connection groups

Exaphasic with or without interface transformer, twelve-phase, etc.

Field of use:

All those applications in which it is necessary to multiply the undulations, such as in the supply of galvanic baths and rectifiers for UPS.

Transformers specifically designed for non-linear loads (K factor)

Field of use:

All those applications that require supplying loads with high harmonic distortion (normal transformers are not designed for this, which causes excessive heating).

The following table is based on experienced practices. A K-13 factor transformer solves most of the problems that arise in installations with a high Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) value.
