Medium voltage inductances

EREMU manufactures medium voltage reactances with both air core and grain-oriented magnetic core, for both “indoor” and “outdoor” use.

We can manufacture this type of reactances up to 10 MVAR, with currents greater than 5000 A. The reactances are vacuum impregnated in an autoclave with class H polyester resins to provide mechanical robustness and optimum resistance to humidity and contamination.

Particular executions such as short-circuit reactances contemplate double electrical insulation and landing with mechanical supports of the outputs. In three-phase systems the three coils can be mounted one on top of the other vertically with insulated supports up to class 36 KV.

The reactors can be wound in copper and/or aluminium, with class F or H insulating material, according to the reference standard CEI EN 60289 – EN 60076.

There are special series such as: shunt reactors, current limiting reactors, neutral ground current limiting reactors, damping reactors, filter reactors, interphase reactors, ground transformers (neutral forming reactor), arc-extinguishing reactors, levelling reactors.

The reactors can be supplied in protective boxes with different IP, also for outdoor installations. For special applications, the protective boxes for the air reactors are made of stainless steel with an open ring.
